Does anyone know where I can procure teflon strips for binding and purfling glue ups? I didn't buy much from LMI but certain things like the Teflon strips were really convenient. |

I think LMII was the better source. Make sure to check width of strip with width of inlay. I ordered some teflon strips for specific paua strips and it was a couple thou too narrow and it would have been a nightmare if I had used it and found the channel too small. Luckily I reordered and it went well. It would be nice to find a source of clean and consistent width teflon strips. Allen has a couple sizes too - https://allenguitar.com/shell_strips.htm (I have not tried theirs.) Please report back if you find a good source. |

I bought a sheet from an auction site and cut strips on the bandsaw. Choose your own size. No problem. |
